Not even RTS games can escape from the battle royale craze, nor the early access trend. But at least this one is free to play. Introducing War Selection.
War Selection is a historical strategy game newly released on Steam as a free to play early access title. Similar to Age of Empires, the player can progress through different ages, unlocking additional technology and skills over time.
What makes it stand out, however, is the battle royale style multiplayer aspect. Instead of it being a single-digit multiplayer, it supports up to 62 players in one match. Players can participate in Team mode, Free for all, Armageddon, Team Armageddon, and Confronting Hordes game modes.
War Selection is free to play, too, which is nice. Instead of having a set price, there is an optional subscriber option. This will unlock more content to the game beyond what the free version offers.
