Try to not have a cow over this, but the classic pic-centric RTS game S.W.I.N.E is coming to Steam PC in a new HD remaster this Spring.
S.W.I.N.E (Strategic Warfare In a Nifty Environment) originally released in 2001, developed by Hungarian video game developer StormRegion and published by Ravensburger Interactive Media under their mature game label Fishtank Interactive. It was a less serious RTS game where the player could fight as either an invading pig army or as the defending rabbit force.
Now Assemble Entertainment has purchased the rights to the game and will be remastering it with the help if Kite Games. With new, modernized graphical quality, S.W.I.N.E. HD Remaster will be available on Steam, as well as other unannounced digital storefronts, some time in Q2 of this year.
What’s New:
- New HUD fitted for 16:9 displays
- Improved graphics and optional settings (anti-alias, v-sync, etc)
- Bug fixes and various quality of life adjustments
- Online and Lan Multiplayer
